The boards which the learner needs a certain understanding of are are veneers, plywoods, particle board, block and lamiboards

Describe the manufacture of of various boards. Describe cutting of veneers. Assess best choice board for task. Discuss environmental issues related- manufacture and disposal.
Tasks
Compare the manufacturing process, strength, cost and environmental impact of using MDF sheets OR plywood.
Suggest appropriate uses of each.
